You said on your one design that you follow your heart when you design. That is one of most powerful tools as a designer, right beside your creativity. The 2 things to remember are
1.) Just follow your gut! If you have a gut feeling, you're getting it for a reason.
2.) Never be afraid of failing. If you are then you can't do anything new and people are always wanting a fresh breath of air! =D
