The new editors-in-chief

Lizzy(Left) & Nicky(Right), friends, cousins, housemates and partners for a fashionblog are now the new editors-in-chief for JUSTPROUD. They both have their own fashion background, outstanding fashion style and a passion for writing. Their mission is to present you the latest fashion news with a touch of their own personality.

Hey Nicky!

When she was a little girl, she already didn’t stand any chance to escape fashion. Nicky’s parents own two clothing stores and so it seemed like her destiny for Nicky to have a career in fashion. When Nicky was 15 years old, she was assigned the important task of selecting edgy clothing pieces. A good taste in fashion should not be wasted!

Nicky’s wardrobe

A lot of minimalistic pieces and good basics fill her wardrobe. No wonder that Nicky loves the brand Acne, because of its neat shapes, simplicity and quality. Acne goes along with Cos, they both know all about minimalistic styles, but Cos adds unexpected twists to the designs.

And now Lizzy’s turn

Lizzy studies fashion and styling and expresses her passion at www.Lizzyvdligt.com. On her blog she not only shows her fashion sense, but also a peek into her life. Followers of Lizzy get to view the life of an artistic fashionista. The blog once started as an experiment with Lizzy as the model and Nicky behind the camera, but soon became a hit. Both have contributed to the success which partly was thanks to the arty pictures and the unique clothing style. You also clearly see that the girls are having a good time, in the end that’s what matters!

Anything can be worn with the right attitude. Fashion label Isabel Marant fits this free spirited state of mind. Lizzy shops with her heart and this sometimes results in a hippie/rock chick outfit that includes joggingpants and an Alexander Wang handbag. It may sound weird, but she rocks it!
